Our Mission

Ghostorical Investigations is a paranormal investigation (“ghost hunting”) team based in the midwestern U.S., with members in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin.

The mission of our team is apparent in everything we do, right down to our name. We believe that paranormal happenings are often rooted in the history of the locations and items that surround them. We research all locations we visit, and apply that research during our investigations.

We combine years of experience, the latest equipment and techniques, and advanced audio/visual recording methods to uncover the paranormal. Our team takes pride in our professional approach.

Our non-confrontational methods allow us to capture the best possible evidence. Unlike some investigation teams, we do not use any occult or pseudo-occult practices such as rituals or summonings, or items like Ouija boards. These do not assist in investigations, and often serve to do more harm than good.

While our team does regularly investigate well-known locations such as The Villisca Axe Murder House (Villisca, IA), The Sallie House (Atchison, KS), and Farrar School (Farrar, IA), we have experience investigating lesser-known and previously uninvestigated locations, including private residences.

Our team has realized through conversation with people in our communities that paranormal occurrences are more common than one would think. If you ask someone if they’ve ever experienced something unexplainable, they are likely to tell you about “that one time when…”. From an uneasy feeling, to disembodied voices and footsteps, to full-body apparitions, it seems like most people have had some kind of experience.

Our team is interested in any locations where paranormal on-goings have been observed, especially if these locations are of historic significance. We work discreetly with our clients, and we are sensitive to and understanding of every unique situation. We offer our dedicated services to anyone who seeks answers to the paranormal phenomena they experience.
